Twycross Zoo

Me and Pete had a day off last Tuesday, so we decided to go to Twycross Zoo…

There were alot of different monkey species, this one was happy playing with a blanket!! :-)

I thought these penguins were really cute, they were following each other by walking around in a line!!

 

 

We went to the elephant enclosure and saw the baby! He’s only 1 year old so has got alot of growing to do!!

 

Not sure what this one was doing – perhaps she was just resting her legs!!

 

 

Sorry, but I had to put this one on – if you look closely you can see that Mr Giraffe is quite pleased to see Mrs Giraffe!!! Hehe!! :-) 

 

 

And here’s a cheeky chimp having a little rest with his blanket.

 

 

We had a great day out with the sun shining and no rain – however we did get attacked by thunder bugs and I was silly enough to wear a bright yellow top!! :-)
