Two special little girls!

It is my two nieces Birthdays this month. (Ages 6 & 9)

I have done the same layout for each card, just adapted them with different themes.

Both images are from the MCS Reigning Cats & Dogs disc along with the backing papers.

I have used plain cardstock for both and folded it into a shortfall square card.

The image has been decoupaged and positioned centrally on the card, overlapping the edge.

 

 

 

I’ve finished the cards off with gems / pearls in the top left along with silver ‘Niece’ peel-offs on some cardstock along with more shiny embellishments.

30th Birthday

It’s my “Brother’s”  30th Birthday this month and I decided to make a humorous card!!!

I love this image! It is from the MCS Reigning Cats & Dogs disc.

I have constructed it all on MCS before printing. The background has crowns on it and I have ‘punched’ the wording to make a shadowed effect.

I have done the insert with the same theme, including another dog with a cute little crown on!!

I’m hoping he will see the funny side of this – the dog should make him smile!!

Wedding Card

My friend is getting married this month (In Las Vegas!!)

This image is off the MCS Enchanted Moments disc.

I have added in some text and layered it onto some white hammered cardstock.

 

I was also asked to make a works card for everyone to sign.

 

This image is from the same disc, and I’ve layered it up the same way onto cotton effect cardstock.

The insert is again from the same MCS disc and I’ve added my own personalised wording.

Hopefully they will both have a lovely 3 weeks touring America and have a long happy life as a married couple.

Mum’s Birthday

It was Mum’s Birthday at the end of August.

I stamped an image onto white card and layered it up with two sheets of glittered card.

I used white cardstock, it has embossed circles on it with a shiny finish.

The backing paper is from a Forever Friends paper stack and I added some pink buttons to embellish the card.

It is finished off with silver ‘Happy Birthday’ & ‘Mum’ peel-offs.

Mum & Dad’s Anniversary

It was my Mum & Dad’s Anniversary in August

I chose to use one of my Forever Friends decoupage images for this card.

I used this cute park bench decoupage image, and finished it off by using Flowersoft on the tree blossom.

The paper is part of my Forever Friends collection as well as the greeting.

I’ve used some pink gems to finish off the card.
